Goodman said he'd give the Witherspoon hiring a "C". Keep in mind this is the same guy that kept Trevor Releford out of the top 50 PGs list his Junior year. Not sure why I bothered asking.

His reasoning was because of recruiting but that's not really what he was brought in for. If Witherspoon can land a player, that's just an extra benefit.

Exactly what I told him. Pettway is great at recruiting in-state and Brannen is just great everywhere. Witherspoon won't need to attract any local talent. If we ever use him for recruiting it will be for the guys up North. I just don't think he knows anything other than the fact he coached up North at Buffalo...

Donta Hall is finally playing AAU this weekend and has averaged 9 points and 11 rebounds in his 3 games.

We have 1 spot open and the deadline is the first week of classes so late August.

The first signing period ends in late November I think. Then the second period is from late April until classes start.

Preciate it. How many are we projected to sign as of right now next year? Without transfers. who are some of the kids in state that might be good also?

Jeff Garrett is reporting to Bama today so that means all 4 freshmen signees will be on campus. The only unknown right now is Varidel.

Evan Daniels of Scout seemed pretty high on him before the EYBL circuit, but yea those games certainly didn't hurt.
