After reading that interview, I can't help but think that it's meant to be that he will go to Seton Hall or maybe Indiana. We will be a successful program well before Seton Hall but IU will be a decent team next year. I just hope we're pounding it into his skull that he will be the catalyst of over offense. With him...we could actually have one. He could possibly just be a role player at IU.

Looks like an old picture and the face does look familiar for some reason, but I can't put a name to him either.

We either got taken off the list or he made us his favorite with the visit in my mind. His father said no decision was forthcoming before the visit and after the visit Jaren said the decision could be any day now. After a visit that usually means the visit was impactful one way or another. He could have really enjoyed the visit, or Grant could have told him about Tarrant's probable commitment which turned him off. Not sure which scenario I think happened, but I do think one of those scenarios happened. Also don't forget his GF goes to Alabama, so that could factor into his decision as well.

He's already on campus and will not need a scholarship, Jai Miller.

All-State in '03 along with Ronald Steele. I think he originally planned on playing basketball and football at Stanford.

And there's the name. He was ranked 111 in Rivals. I've given up on football players playing basketball though, especially after we desperately needed big guys this year and Hubbard sounded like he wanted to play and didn't for some reason (Saban, my guess).

I don't think it's a secret that Saban doesn't want his football players playing two sports

That's my bet where he goes. I said it when they first showed interest that he was waiting for a big offer. Im guessing they are telling him that they are going to use him like they use that PG they have that can really shoot.

“Everything was great. It was amazing – A1. It was a good visit overall,” said Key known as “Al” to friend and relatives. “The people are nice too. Alabama is on another level than TCU and Georgia, the schools I am looking at as far as the program, academics, facilities and the campus.

This is an interview with Key from Bamamag.

So basically we are getting Key if we miss on Sina? If he had a legitimate offer it sounds like he'd commit.

Yea if we are on another level whats the hold up. I know CAG isn't waiting on Sina. I think its over for him. Would be shocked if he ended up here.

The girlfriend really needs to come through here. I'm pretty sure the Tarrant transfer won't have any impact. I can't just give up on getting this kid. His game is exactly, perfectly, absolutely necessarily what we need. I like Coleman too but I honestly don't consider him a lock. Tarrant isn't that great of a distributor but I definitely welcome him with open arms. We need a distributor so dang bad. We need Sina's game. He would be our anti Marshall Henderson except he can pass. This needs to be Grant's gospel.

And from what I read, I don't think Algie Key has ever made a 3 point shot seemingly. Sounds like Ben Eblen 2.0

Bigger than Eblen and was a Juco All American. He may cant shoot but he can play some. I think we need to continue to add talent to our roster. Our players will never get better practicing walk ons.
