Also just saw on twitter that Indiana basketball tweeted about Sina. Pretty much claiming they were responsible for him gaining all those followers. Can he resist Hoosier mediocrity nation? Truth be told, this dude doesn't give much of any indication which way he wants to go. Maybe he wants to marry his gf, lol. Gotta be close

For sure. Nothing wrong with depth

Yea if we are on another level whats the hold up. I know CAG isn't waiting on Sina. I think its over for him. Would be shocked if he ended up here.
I think he is waiting on Sina.

Just curious, but why not? He adds much better passing than anyone we have and is like 45% from 3 in his whole HS career, which includes some pretty ridiculous attempts. I think a distributor would help our offense immensely.
Only downside I see is possibly scaring off Coleman, but Sina should be a pretty easy sale as a combo-guard.

Yea I like Sina besides the fact that he decomitted from us. He gives us a pure shooter. Honestly were so late in the process getting Sina right now is like getting a 5 star player. He is like the best that's available for the 2013 class. Seems like we would be able to add him and someone else in this class. Wish we would've offered that wing. I think McIntosh?

Me too. Hopefully Sina will decide before Key visits Georgia next week.

Now lets pray that he doesn't go to juco and that we have a program that he wants to come to in 2017

No doubt. We'll turn into the NCAA version of lob city if this kid comes in. He'll extend defenses and open up some cutting lanes. More Importantly ...he will see and make the pass. That would be an awful situation if Sina were to go somewhere else after Key came to a realization that he would be our 2nd choice. Then I suppose we would resort to begging Coleman. We would still have Tarrant though.

Weve screwed up twice this year already waiting and believing that players were coming here. Don't think we should do any waiting on anyone. Seems like we should have room for both anyway. Tarrant wont be playing until next year.

We don't NEED Key or Sina, and we sure as hell don't want both, unless we are comfortable giving up on Coleman and grabbing a post instead with our 1 available scholarship next year. If we needed a guard, I'd be fine with offering Key and taking both, but we'd be fine without either. This is a situation where we should wait for the one we want IMO.

Yea seems like we say that every year though. Just hold on to the scholarships and wait on the right guy. Then we end up with no bench and no depth. IMO we need someone. Lacey isn't the answer for the backup PG. He should come off the bench and give us instant offense. I would like Sina more than Key but I do think we need bodies.

Key isn't a PG though. At the wing we have plenty of depth.

above someone mentioned Coleman..He is 5 10...and I know that size plays well in Alabama 5a, but I don't see it playing well in sec BB. Any thoughts on his size. I did not go to a recruiting site for his size cuz I am pretty sure I read it in the bham fish wrapper during the state tournament

His size will keep him from being a 5*. That's how talented he is with the ball. Dan McDonald is a scout I trust for a ton of evaluations and he had the same doubts about Coleman until he saw him a few more times this year. He raves about him after every game/practice and says no doubt he'll be a good SEC player.

THIS. The kid oozes talent, but him being listed at 5'10" is a little generous. Regardless he'll be a stud at the collegiate level, but if he doesn't grow a couple inches that'll probably be his ceiling. His opponents will have an advantage in size, but that's about it. He's quicker, smarter, faster, and a better scorer and passer than 95% of high-major point guards.
The fact that he's getting all this high-major interest and offers at 5'8"-5'9" is a testament to his ability.

If the poster from Bamamag is right, we might be losing Pollard too. In that case we would need to take Key. We need someone with at least a little length for the wing position.

Guess Pollards mom angry he isn't starting or something.
Posted on 4/15/13 at 6:32 pm to BigBird09
Wouldn't he or Alabama have already already stated if he was leaving or not?
Posted on 4/15/13 at 6:37 pm to Bryant91092
I thought they would've announced any other transfers by now, but when remembering how long it took Pollard to make up his mind the first time, it's certainly possible he hasn't made his mind up yet again.
