Undisciplined? I don't think so. If anything they're trying to do too much and trying to force some things in my opinion. Not much margin of error when we're struggling to score like this.

One out walk and single have Gators on first and second with one out.

Aaaaand another walk. They're loaded with one out. This one might get out of hand. I'm off to the bars of beautiful Orange Beach. Hopefully Saturday and Sunday bring some better played baseball.

Hard to believe we give up so many walks and the other teams throw strikes all night.
To start the season we weren't walking many at all, either they have pitched to many innings or we ain't getting thw corners.

You have to hit them and to hit them you have to live on them. The change ups are killing us and the spots have 0 to do with it.

6-2 with 2 on and no outs was the last I heard on the LSU board.
They are mad, Texas AM scored 4 in the bottom of the 9th to tie it up.

Only gave up 7 hits. Made three errors, walked NINE batters, and ran ourselves out of a potentially big inning when it was still only 2-0. Can't beat anybody playing like that.

nine batters sounds like little league ball. We also had a few balks too right? I got ticked off watching the game so I flipped back and forth near the end and missed the first 4 innings cuz of date night

At least one balk and one HBP that I saw. I missed the last few innings. It was a pretty pathetic effort. Gaspard at least acknowledged that and sounded pretty ticked off after the game, so hopefully he lit a fire in them last night.

what I don't understand is at this level playing UF and a coach has to be ticked off about effort..I don't understand lack of effort from athletes at this level. Were they all trying to get off the field so they could all go get laid. Inquiring minds want to know.

Our bigger problem though the rest of the way is that over the last few weeks our middle relief has been terrible. We don't have anybody we can count on to bridge the gap from our starters to Burrows. Eicholtz, Shaw, Castillo, Gulibeau, etc have all had major problems. I'd like to see us move Eicholtz back to the midweek starting role (both of our remaining midweek games are against Jacksonville St) and have Bramblett available out of the pen for SEC play. He's been great in the midweek recently against some pretty stout lineups.

It didn't necessarily seem like a lack of effort, to me at least. Just one of those ugly, sloppy games that happen from time to time. You're right though that they just can't happen at this time of year. I think today's game will show us a lot about their mindset. I expect a much better game.

About ready to go. Big final two games for a multitude of reasons. We're a game out of second overall in the SEC, and a game ahead of seventh.
