So, to my understanding, Bama has a pretty solid RPI at 17, but the schedule hasn't been too tough so far and is about to pick up?

Schedule has been tough, always is in the SEC, but yea it's brutal down the stretch. Florida is #1 in the RPI, LSU is a top ten team, and then Mississippi St is always tough.

Tomorrow's game obviously has big NCAA implications, but with Mississippi St losing the series at home to A&M this weekend, a win could go a long, long way to ensuring a top four finish and a first round bye at the SEC tournament. Too bad Keller screwed up...

Going to be tough, Carolina at home is still on another level than we are but we are closing the gap. So, need strong pitching and will have to manufacture some runs - put runners in motion.

And there we go.

we got under on 2 batters with easy pop ups. Looks like if we going to swing at those that are just over the belt than it could be a long day. Pitching is going to be key if Tucker can git r done

Scar pitcher hitting his spots. Need to get him in some counts and get him out of there.

Well, not an ideal start... 2-0 USC after an inning. I was glad to see us try to hit and run in the first, just caught a bad break with such a terrible pitch to hit We have to be aggressive like that today though.

Tweet from Aaron Suttles:

"South Carolina starter Wil Crowe was coming to Alabama until he saw South Carolina's facilities. Committed to the Gamecocks instead."

Which is why we've been pleading for a new stadium for years, and shows how Gaspard's recruiting jobs have been even more impressive than his highly rated classes might suggest.

Crowe rolling thru 3, just 34 pitches needed so far. 2-0 USC, B3.

Eicholtz has a 1-2-3 inning, on to the 4th. He came on to start the 3rd, I obviously wasn't paying attention

Alabama down quickly in order again, just 46 pitches for Crow thru 4 innings. Maybe we should start trying to work the count or do something a little different

Leadoff walk allowed by Eicholtz and he comes around to score. We overthrow the cutoff man allowing another runner to reach 2nd. The little things... 3-0 USC, still B4.

We didn't get swept, that was the important thing. We knew today would be tough from a pitching standpoint, offense isn't putting up much of a fight yet though.

Here we go. Overstreet singles, Smith doubles leading off the 5th. 2nd and 3rd, nobody out. Gotta get them both home.

that was a weak throw by Salem if he was trying to go home. Had no mustard to come close to getting runner at home.
