what a play..loved the ref getting in the face of the 3rd base coach and telling him to back off.

KSU with a two out double and now Max Pentecost is coming to the plate. Thank god for that last call.

The ump probably thought his hand slid right into Wass' foot. No way he's out otherwise.

Two out double, NCAA leading hitter to the plate and we're leaving Shaw in...

Ole one batter too long Mitch strikes again. Feel as bad for Shaw as anybody, he deserved to leave with the lead.

Burrows is absolutely the right call, just a couple batters too late.

Why would you not pitch around Pentacost by giving him out of the strike zone pitches?

Why not go to Burrows to face Pentacost?

Damn our manager sucks.

Yea. Our players are well coached, pretty smart outside of some approaches at the plate. Just have too many questionable in-game decisions from the dugout

That was a very bad call. Either walk him and then bring in Burrows or bring in Burrows to pitch to him. I question Gaspard a lot, but he's usually right and obviously has a better feel for his team than I. But I can't think of any defense for the way he handled that inning.

We get a couple of baserunners with two outs on a HBP and a walk, Salem grounds out to end it.

So they are bringing their day one starter back on 2 days rest.

They are desperate.

Burrows laboring some here, throwing a lot of balls at the start of the inning.

Huge 4-6-3 double play. Walked one, went to three balls with each hitter. Scoreless inning though.

2-2 T7
