If you play poorly after a loss that's not a letdown. You're already down. Auburn had a bit of a letdown because they were coming off a big win. Alabama has simply played poorly twice in a row.

The guys on this team do a lot of “unsmart” things during crucial points of the game.
There is truth to that and some of our turnovers are indefensible. But I will say, I do think Nate has put the fear of god into them that as soon as the ball comes off the rim on defensive rebounds you push the pace as fast as possible, whether on the dribble or via pass. I think at times we pay for it and though it looks absolutely careless, I do think it's something that he ingrains in them.
One other "turnover waiting to happen" element of our game is the awkward forced 5 foot entry pass to whomever is the pivot at the top of the 3 point arc where the pass recipient shields the defender and just reaches his arm up high. It's generally Nelson, but at times it's Cliff. It's just so random, but you can tell it's a scripted part of our offense because we use it 3-4 times a game and it always just looks very unsettled.

Your not understanding the concept of a letdown game are you? Happens in every sport. That is why Saban always tried to take emotions out of his players.
Usually a letdown game is after on all-in, top notch performance. The game against AU was not that. Missed layups and abysmal shooting and plenty of “unsmart” moves in that game.
It’s not a letdown but a continuation of shite performances. They actually shot better in last night’s game which makes your point meaningless.
