Cooper and Releford both had a pretty good scoring game, but that's about it. Main problem seemed to be ball movement. Releford led in assists with 2.

looks like the difference was 3 point shooting, FTS, and turnovers.

I don't really care about the game, but 16-31 from the line is putrid.

That was the main stat I noticed. Well that and Retin not shooting but 3 times. He's been fairly quiet from the stats we've gotten this trip.

I said in one of the earlier threads that we were shooting too many 3s. I said that because it was basically settling because the teams were in zone. We have to find a way to score in zone that isnt shooting 3s all the time. Looks like we will probably have the same problem as last year.

This says we were 4/9 on 3s. That's not many at all.

And that was the worst part to me. 5 assists for the entire game? That is just terrible.
BTW Bryant Retin only played 12 minutes which is less than everybody other than Slaughter. I wonder if he's been getting these kind of minutes this entire trip.

Nevermind. Grant had a good reason to keep him on the bench this game. He had 3 turnovers in those 12 minutes.

I mean in other games. We were stroking it from 3 but we all know were not going to be able to beat teams that way very often when teams run zone.

Could be wrong, but I don't think the zone will be as much of a problem this year. Just a gut feeling.
