Part of the recruiting rise for GA and LSU started Kirby's first class on his own. He started hitting Saban's age hard. When you tell a 17/18 year old kid that the coach they commit to will not be there to see them graduate and that the coach is already almost 70 ears old... Do you remember how old 70 sounded when you were 17/18 years old?

It didn't help that he took a picture of our recruiting board for the next 2 classes with him and could whip out his phone to show prospects that they were actually our 3rd, 4th, or 5th choice at their position when Saban was trying to sell them on being our top priority.
