UGA insiders are confident on Washington. That said, they have a terrible history of being major homers and missing on a ton of projections. Their fans get pissed every signing day and yet keep paying the subcripsiton fees.

Jordan Burch -- "Saban in-home went well. Burch was very receptive as were those close to him who attended. Alabama remains in the mix, but how much so hasn't been determined yet. With a quiet kid like Burch, there simply isn't going to be much news out of the Burch camp on an overall favorite. If I had to bet I wouldn't bet much and I would lean to the home team in South Carolina. But none of the schools would surprise me at all. He hasn't tipped his hand at any point. Never know what a kid that quiet is truly thinking. He doesn't talk about specifics of his recruitment with anyone other than his mom." -- TW

Jordan Burch -- "I won't out my sources by name, but I get info from someone in the recruiting world. Also, get info from a good friend in the UA athletic complex and I'll leave it at that... Burch's in-home with Coach Saban went very well and he has his mother's blessing to go to Bama if he decides to... As of right now, it's expected he'll decide between South Carolina, Bama and UGA. LSU is still in it but on the outside right now. Clemson also feels that it is on the outside."

As long as USCe is still in there you would have to think they have the inside track. They have been the favorite for a long time. But strange things happen in the last couple of weeks before NSDe.

Burch doesn't tell anyone about leaning toward any favorite(s) except his mom and she doesn't tell anyone anything either.

That Crouch guy was like that too last year. He ended up at 10rC didn't he Surge?
Anybody know how he did there? He was the Number 1 rated recruit at one time I think.
By the way Henry To' to made the freshman All-American 1st team.

Any word on mcellan? Also curious as to why that source for Burch didn’t include LSU. I think they are in it. Is it a reliable poster?

I didn't follow Crouch's recruitment closely, but iirc he was pretty open and candid in interviews. One of my sons was LaBryan Ray's DL coach in HS and they were close. But Ray wouldn't talk to him in detail about his recruitment, only with his father. Burch and his mom are like that too. They don't want to talk about it with anyone outside of the family. They won't talk to recruiting reporters, other than basics, like confirming OVs, when he plans sign and enroll, etc. Clay Webb is another kid who kept his recruitment secret. Some are so tight lipped that nobody has any true insight into where they're likely to go.

I haven't seen anything new on McClellan. Idk how reliable the Burch info is from that poster's sources. His post was copied from "another Bama board" and posted on BOL. It got deleted pretty quickly, so I guess BOL may have found that it came from behind another site's paywall.
