I'm trying to stay pessimistic that something will go wrong in regards to them but it's getting tougher and tougher.

I seriously thought Petty was a pipe dream. Hard to register that we're getting two 5 stars.

Hard to register that both Sexton and Petty decided to go to UAB. At least we have Reese.

Add Adam Zagoria to the list of those that are predicting both Petty and Sexton to Alabama: LINK

He also picks Oregon for Troy Brown.

Y'all ever wonder why it seems like there's never a NCAA tourney game in Birmingham? Seems like a great place to host one of the first/second round weekend games

Because there hasn't been one since 2008. And only twice since the turn of the century.

Primarily I guess the reason is that it's old..I remember reading about how much money it took to get it up to decent enough standards to host back in 2008. It was a dump in a lot of places including bathrooms, lockerooms, media area, concessions etc.

Not sure how much has change in the arena since the new renovation project a few years ago. The court looks fire though.

I haven't been this excited about a recruiting cycle since 2008 football. No joke.

Believe they said they are not coming back till the facilities get up to date. There's going to be a $300 million dollar renovation to the BJCC and with Legacy Arena getting $123 million dollar renovation.

All in all, if approved (which it will be), Bham will be a destination spot for the tourney. That area will be gorgeous once completed.

Maybe, but it won't be any time soon. That master plan proposal had a completion date of 2036? Lol

Well that's depressing to hear. I understand it's a lot (facelift to the arena, two new high rises, and a stadium), but it shouldn't take 20 damn years to complete. What the hell.

Bossi posted that Sexton will be visiting UGA this weekend. Not the best news in the world.

2:30 CT tomorrow Brown decides. I doubt we get him but either Friday or Saturday Avery Jr DID retweet one of Brown's tweets about not wanting to eat steaks with snakes. It's an old tweet, but it's still interesting he retweeted it

So Troy Brown is definitely picking Oregon today, right?
