Some guy on BOL said he heard the next news we might get would be Monday. Though he didn't name a player when he said that, but I assume he meant Smith.

I don't post in here much but I just wanted to pop in and say Smith is from my alma mater in Clinton, MS, and I can't wait to see him in Crimson.

Isn't that where Cam Akers is from too?

I've been lurking in this thread for a couple of months now, glad to see it finally start heating up. Hope we keep getting good news.

I'd say CST since he is in Mississippi.

Meyer saying that Smith would move us up to 22nd best class on 24/7. I'll allow it.

We could replace Petty with Hammonds if Petty decides he'd rather just stand on the perimeter at UK instead of having plays drawn up specifically for him here.

I still feel pretty confident about Sexton for some reason. Usually I expect the worst with basketball like last year I was convinced Ferguson wasn't actually coming pretty early.

We are going to be set at the center position going forward with Giddens, Hall, and Smith if he commits. That's 3 athletic guys to rotate.

Explosive leaper. Quick off floor and strong in traffic. Raw offensively and not that skilled. Plays hard and will grind. Again, exceptional athlete who played an important role on one of the best Nike EYBL teams.

That's Meyer's thoughts on Smith

Looks like he has skills to me...well looking at his film. Really like the fact that he is a grinder.

You need garbage men on every team. Hopefully we can develop him into a scoring threat as well.
