If that happens, this weekend would still be awesome even if we somehow lost to WKU.

@coreyevans_10
So that pretty much confirms that's why Avery was in Mableton last night I guess. We all assumed that, but that confirms it.

A poster on BOL said they saw CAJ with Herb Jones at his school this morning too.

At this point in time, who do you feel will be in this class when it is all said and done?
Posted on 9/9/16 at 12:19 pm to Chadaristic
Sexton, Petty, Reese, Herb, Hammonds

Kevin Brockway, Florida beat writer, says that Herb Jones will officially visit Florida this weekend.

This. Maybe sub Hammonds with Garza. Hoping for Brown, but that would be the far and away biggest pull our basketball program has ever accomplished in recruiting. Brown actually scares me. The Ayton commitment to Arizona just gives him more ammo to pull Sexton out west, if he really wants to stay put.

That's what I'm thinking/hoping too.

Can we just get someone
Getting one of these kids to "commit" doesn't make a hill of beans. Didn't we learn this last year? Until its signing day, doesn't matter how excited they get on their visit. Signing day is all that matters.

So you won'the get excited if they commit this weekend?
Commits in basketball aren't like the ones in football. They're are a few decommits, but almost all of those are either due to a coaching change or their original decision was made very early in the process. What happened with Ferguson pretty much never happens. He was the only commit in the entire 2016 class not to sign with his team in the early period. Being a commit doesn't mean they're a 100% lock, but they sure as hell mean something this late in the process.

And yea we didn't end up with Ferguson but getting him got us Key...

Luke Garza has two recent CB's to Iowa.

I would think there's a good chance he commits there this weekend with him heading back on an unofficial.

Seems likely. All seven predictions have him going there last I checked.

I dropped my 247 access but Kansas has some post on their site about their in-hole visit with Sexton today: LINK

I read a UK article earlier but I forgot where it was and can't find the link. It said Calipari came to Alabama to visit Petty today.
Didn't say anything else about it tho
