How the hell does Bruce get all these guys to make 3's??No disrespect to DeSean Murray but im pretty sure he didnt hit 3's like he does now before he got to Auburn. Does Bruce have a secret coaching tip??

Ayton still should have been ejected against us for kicking Sexton in the face.

I agree our kids hesitate... Hopefully petty came out of it today. Everything else is cake for the rest of the year...Proud of the kids for not folding after the 5 game skid and won't be surprised if we bust a few brackets. I totally agree about Reese, he can be really good...Most of our guys just need to hit the weights a little more and the likelihood that everyone returns except Collin has me looking forward to next year. I really think the last few weeks we lost our confidence and hopefully our mental toughness will be an emphasis in the off season. Avery isn't perfect but he adjusted some strategies this week . He didn't lose this team when it would've been easy to, but they didn't fold. I believe better things are in store in the coming years.

Yeah guys everything is cool...I've just come to respect more where people were coming from, I know we all see the potential in this program and are all invested. I'm glad everyone has seemed to pull together for these kids regardless if u have issues with Avery. I was unrealistic in my expectations this year but these kids have brought some spark back that was missing. I'm hopeful Avery will continue to grow as a coach and the kids will keep developing. I think we saw this week that they just needed good things to happen for them and we accomplished what we needed to I think.

First, Murray was a 76% FT shooter and now 85%, so it isn't nuts he can make open 3s. Second Murray exclusively shoots wide, defender doesnt respect me 3s and is only 17/50 34%. Still better than the 1/11 3FG in the 2 years at Presbyterian though
AU has two things though
1-Harris Adler is a great asst coach whose helped a lot of guys improve their stroke
2- AU encourages big men to practice and take 3s when open
If Pearl has seen you make it in practice, he gives you the green light in a game. So our guys out a F ton of extra shooting g practice in too

He's probably the most dominant big man I've seen in a long long time

That's pretty normal for him. He is unreal. I wish I had drafted him in my fantasy college basketball league. I have Sexton at least.

I think he has a quick trigger when it is designed for him to shoot.
When I watch, it seems like in unplanned situations, he doesn't pull the trigger
I'd say during the season he shot more when it wasn't planned for him. Most of his attempts seem to come when we're just swinging the ball around and the defender gives him too much space. I think it was primarily the stage we were on. We needed those games in the tournament, and he knew it. He probably felt he shouldn't shoot unless he was wide TF open with the way Sexton was playing.

This is going to be us when the bracket comes out and everyone in this thread is convinced we will make a run.

I'm torn between him and Doncic. I'm just hoping we get a top 2 pick and are in position to grab one of them.

They came into the season unranked and predicted to finish 6th in the ACC

Can't wait for the inevitable 9 game win streak to give us the 8th pick

for those of you who are "xperts" what makes you think next year will be better. Realistically we are losing Sexton and Hall leaving is a great probability. We are losing a ton of points. Convince me that with another year under their belts that the rest of them will be better. We cant even shoot over 70% FT's consistently and this is just pure fundamental BB.
