The boot and crutches isn't a great sign, but Petty said on Twitter he was going to be "ight". May have just said that with no input, but we'll have to wait for the MRI to know for sure.

I hope Petty is okay. We need his shooting.

I just said that hockey does the same thing.

ETA: Hockey is actually more strict with the 5-10 game suspension.

Okay... Hockey does it the same way. The same sport that punishes fist fights with 5 min (or whatever it is) in the penalty box does it the same way.

All of our remaining opponents are currently in the KenPom Top 101 (LTU is 101).

Nuts.

Not sure how bad it was relative to Purifoy for AU last year but his comeback schedule for reference

Injury ~Jan7
First game Back ~Jan21

He was a shell of his former self for awhile. We rushed him out there IMO

First game he looked close to pre injury self ~ Feb18

It is a strict rule, but the truth is there is never a reason for bench players to get on the court.

I will say some guys seem to be going on to pull other bench guys back. That seems like a suspect ejection

Watching Gonzaga-Texas. We're going to hate that press that Shaka brings, especially when we put Avery Jr in.

Good luck pressing this team...It ll be a lot of run out dunks and layups. Jr is serviceable and has hit some key shots already this yr.

I think we can get a little careless though with our ball handling at times. AJ Jr is good when he's open, but winning one-on-one battles isn't a good feat of his.

Maybe I'm just a little too worried after yesterday.

Why didnt Minnesota leave 1 person in the Backcourt and play 4 on 3 when we had the ball?? That way when we missed a shot they could have thrown it ahead for an easy layup.

I think yesterday was a win even though we lost. It showed we have heart and guys who won't quit. Minnesota is a tough team and will be a factor in the big 10. We have a team that has each other's back and Sexton is the kind of alpha u need in college basketball to be successful. Hoping petty injury is minor because when key returns we ll be tough to beat every night

It's basketball no one is going undefeated. I think showing grit when it's 3 on 5 should tell us the type of guys Avery has right now. Minnesota is a veteran team and tried to bully our youngsters and once they decided they'd had enough Minnesota couldn't take it

This why Collin Sexton is on his way to becoming a Bama legend.

He has zero fricks to give. I think this game has made him angrier and even more hungry, if that's even possible. His legend grows every game. He's played in 4 games and is already the best PG in Bama history imo.

He did that in high school too when no one was there during his free throws.
