U have to take criticism and that's a fact ...But it shouldn't have to be personal and have jackasses making comments about how long they've been fans and making a comment about your mother.

This is the same line of logic people used w Gene Chizik in 2012

Avery Johnson isn't Bama basketball, he's just the coach at Bama. Criticizing Avery for doing a shite job doesn't mean you're a bandwagon fan

No way MTSU should be in. They haven't beaten anybody of note all season.

This. No way they get an at-large. Their best wins were Murray State, Vandy, Ole Miss, and Princeton.

Had 2 baseball games tonight and been out of the loop.

Trying to catch up but is the consensus that a win tomorrow would keep Bama out of the play in games?

You may be right. Really sucks how the mid-major conferences send teams to the tournament.

MTSU's best wins were literally are worst losses. If they get in, it's a sham.

Probably. We're back among the last 4 in with Lunardi at the moment, I'm pretty sure. That asshat Palm still doesn't even have us among the first 4 out.

Winning tomorrow removes almost all doubt.

Yes, but a loss tomorrow may keep us out of the play in games the wrong way.

Palm has teams with almost objectively worse resumes above us.

Shots about his mom should be off limits, but if someone comments on how long they have been a fan is their right. How does that hurt him? No one is above criticism and anyone who calls someone a bad fan because they are concerned and criticize, then they might need to stay away from sports.

It's frustrating, we shouldn't even be in this situation

Tonight we want Oregon State to beat USC, UCF to beat ECU, and WVU to beat Baylor.

Never before have I ever had any interest in any athletic contest between UCF - ECU. But go UCF

If the talent we have doesn't make us better by the end of these kids junior year I ll gladly lead the charge in saying Avery needs to go.

You'll be charging alone trying to catch up with the rest of us. He gave himself the time frame of 3 years. He said it. That's on him. He led the hype before the season even started. Giving him until after their Junior year is ridiculous. Coaching doesn't work like that anymore

that one isn't as big of a deal. UCF winning would just help our RPI some. Baylor or USC losing would be better.

As in you just want Watford and Lewis to bail AJ out and buy Avery another 3-4 years after that?

Avery will be in year 4 next year, if he doesn't compete for a top seed/double bye in SEC he is a failed hire
