Just saw an update where Martin said he’ll come off the bench and play a few minutes

I don't think he will be a difference maker in the SECT, probably not even in the NCAAT

I doubt he has the conditioning to play extended periods. Porter also wasn't a very physical player in HS where he was physically dominant, I don't see him showing up in the SECT/NCAAT without an adjustment against higher quality/more physically imposing teams

He probably will be the "looks nice" but doesn't make a big impact type additions for Mizz

I agree. He’s basically never played college basketball before and they’re throwing him in the SEC tourney with basically no in-game experience. Gonna be interesting to see how he does

Alabama is now “First Four Out” after Syracuse won. Still plenty of bubble teams left to play today

I think his impact on games will be negligible, I do think he will do some coolthings though followed up with dumb things.

I'd be shocked if he gets more than 10-15min in a game in SECT.

Bubble Updates for all of you

-NC State Lost to Boston College
-Arizona St lost to Colorado

Also, I'm not so sure why everyone thinks Oklahoma is a "lock"
if they lose to OSU. Not sure how you can go 4-11 in the final 15 games with no road/neutral wins and not be sweating on selection sunday

Still trying to wrap my head around how we ended on a 5-game losing streak.

If it helps you feel better, Bama has won more games since Feb1 than Oklahoma

It doesn't make me feel better. We came off 2 impressive wins- one which was a 28-point beat down that ended up being co-champs. Literally all we had to do was win 1 game.

fricking tired of mediocre shite and tired of fans and the perpetual excuses.

I shouldn't read Tardfans.com before posting here.

After watching several of those 5 losses I can believe 5 in a row....It's the wins against some good teams that baffle me more than losses. If the shots are going down then this bunch is pretty good but if not then they're NIT quality and then just barely. Bama has had just 3 losing seasons in the past 25 years and that is pretty dayum good(Hobbs/Mark/Avery/Grant. A fella can hope but I will more more surprised with a win than another loss.

That Az State loss almost certainly eliminates them. That should help as a weak PAC-12 will probably only send 3 teams now: USC, Arizona and UCLA.

Ok, all the pundents are saying Bama needs to win to be in, therefore arguably they have the most to play for.
With that, does Bama

A. Come out and play their best game of the season, and impressively win

B. Play uninspiring, but somehow manage a W

C. Play pretty good, but lose

D. Totally shite the bed

I'd love to say A, but in my mind I can clearly see D.

Notre Dame beats Va Tech to get off the bubble and in the tourney most likely

Oklahoma State beating Oklahoma gets them much closer.

I think you’ll find Lunardi will have an unusually bad year. Palm even worse but the bottom of the bracket is so bad this year it’s really a guessing game.

Lunardi dropped us two more spots. We’re now the 3rd team out
