All he's ever said is let things play out. Gottfried had a loaded roster in 2001 and we didn't even make the NCAA, in 2002 we won the league with a more veteran team. Im just soooooo sick of starting over man

The worst part is.... of all those guys, I wanted Avery Johnsons to finally be our guy the most. His energy, attitude and demeanor breathed life into the place right from the tarmac. This one will hurt the most for me.

Was planning on giving you an upvote....

I still hope he can pull an "Alex Ferguson" if he can survive this year.

Couldn't do it after that...

By no means do I believe this will happen. But if Avery still has a job next year, this will be my attitude, as opposed to HOPING THE TEAM LOSES.

For the reasons stated above is why I want Avery to figure it out...I guess the worst case is the next coach taking the roster Avery has assembled and doing something with it. These guys are talented , but it takes more than that. Time and maturity physically and mentally is what they need.

Well, no, the worst case scenario would be another Goff and seeing us bottom out and having to do the whole "New Era" shite all over again the very next year.

Why do you keep moving the bar? At first it was, "they are just young and will figure it out". Now you are moving it to next season.

Joe Lunardi’s latest bracketology has us in the “Last 4 in”.

So basically it looks like a loss Thursday ends the season and a win may be enough to get us in.

Avery would be fine if he had a pair and went out and got another pg who could run the offense when Colling went out. Next year will be the same shite. Or maybe a judo who could rebound.

This is one of things that get me. Avery Jr. A pg that can't break down a defense. Gets aboused while playing defense. When he is in the game they play him off ball and let him roam the sideline like he is some great shooter. Tell me Lawson wouldn't be a better option for that. Jr. Air balls 50% of his threes.

You being pragmatic, looks a lot like moving the bar and making excuses. You have every right to have an opinion and voice it. I was just trying to understand. Sometimes, you have to just admit when you were wrong about something instead of moving the finish line
