Ya know, had you told me this morning we were going to lose today by 2 points, I probably wouldn't have been upset. I'd have assumed we played a tough game, and they just made a couple more plays down the stretch, as the home team usually does.
But I actually watched the game, and I'm livid. How does a team not have the heart to actually play like you want to win when you've lost 4 straight games, 2 of them in embarrassing fashion? WTF are the coaches doing to motivate them? Why do they need the motivation? We have one guy that puts in the effort 100% of the time. We have a couple that do about 85% of the time, then we have a bunch of guys that act like they'd rather be somewhere else. Just pathetic.

I think this may be the most disappointing season of Alabama basketball I’ve ever seen.....and I’ve seen a ton of disappointment in my time watching this program

There was a Gottfried team or two that felt about like this, but even they got to the tournament.

The 07 team was pretty damn dissapointing. Started out 13-1 all the way up to #5 and didnt make the NCAAt

I totally forgot that team started that well.
We were 18-5 (5-4) in February 7th and didn't make the tournament. CMG you bitch.

Auburn has officially taken us over as THE team in the state of Alabama. They have a winning record vs us since Avery got to Bama and they’re 5 minutes away from winning the SEC right now while we can’t even make the NCAA tourney. We’re not gonna be able to put a border around the state of Alabama like Avery said and keep the in-State kids at our school now. Auburn is gonna get them

Exactly. We can’t afford to do nothing. Giving AU and the SEC another season to distance themselves.
Outside of cutting a check for the buyout, I see no legitimate or tangible reason to retain Avery.
Feel it’s like Groundhog Day because this is the same argument I was using in Grant’s last two years.

Your point is fair but they don't have a shot in hell at Watford or Lewis. That's a fact
