I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I'm mad, frustrated and just tired of it, but we keep moving up

Lol reading the program out loud huh? Honestly only bandwagon fans piss me off, I've had to weed out some of the Bama fans I've met up here in VA... Especially during football season.

1 more win...That's all I ask. Guys i think we re this year's version of Vanderbilt...They were 18-15 last yr and were a 8 or 9 seed. It's our nonconference resume.

Hope you’re right . Gotta get at least one more and I don’t know where it’s coming from.who would we open up with in SEC tourney as it stands now?

Don't know, seeding is to be determined. I think we handle business Tues night ... Especially if we pull our heads out of our arse on the glass. Petty and key talked about showing maturity and not being sloppy after the game. My sense is they just need to not play so sloppy.

Well it’s like tell my players.... if you want it bad enough tryout will do the things it takes to make it happen. Hopefully this 3 game funk is over with and they see the urgency

Now that I've had a few hours to calm down from that atrocity we watched tonight I'll throw in my 2 cents.

I think there is a strong possibility we don't make the tournament this year. We went from what a 2 or 3 seed in the SEC tourney after beating Tennessee to currently an 8 seed. Arky, Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee are all playing better now. A&M had a few good wins down the stretch although they've struggled lately. I am not confident in this team right now that they win either of the remaining games on the schedule. Not based on what I've seen since the second half of the Kentucky game.

Other teams in this conference are peaking and playing well, we've regressed the last 2 weeks.

I'm on the fence currently about Avery, and I was super excited when we hired him. If we miss the tournament this year, then I think it's time to seriously look at a replacement. If we make the tourney this year and even lose in the first game, I'll give him another year. But if its the same thing as this year and not much improvement, then Avery should no longer be coaching here.

I still say if we end the season on a 6 game losing streak (1 in the SEC tourney) and finish 17-15 and 8-11 we are testing the limits of what they will accept and there’s a damn good chance we get left out and rightfully so. The committee would catch some serious Hell if they let us in with that resume’ and leave out some 24-3 mid major who got beat out of their tourney. Especially if we go one and done.
I’ll be the first one to admit, I am very impatient when it comes to coaching. But it comes from being right more often than not about whether or not a coach is earning his paycheck. And in basketball, you can turn around a bad program very quickly with a good coach. Avery is not a good coach. He’s a good recruiter and a good salesman. But he’s not a good coach. Ingram, Hall, and Key are examples I can point to. Have any of them, including our freshmen developed much? Do they appear coached up and significantly improved over last year or early this season? I don’t think you can say they are. That’s lack of coaching.
We would owe him at least $5 million dollars if we fire him without cause this year. That was his original contract but he signed a 2 year extension in August so it may be higher. It drops to $4mil in 18-19 and $3 mil in 19-20. He’s not getting fired, that’s for sure. And why in the hell did we sign him to such a ridiculous contract? That buyout is incredibly stupid. Battle was such a total frick up!!

Yea if we lose out I don’t think we will or deserve to get in. We have some good wins but they used to look at how your last 10 games were and such. We won’t have any momentum for sure. I still got faith though . Crazy as that sounds , I think we pull this shite together somehow

All due respect, if u think hall hasn't come a long way then we re watching 2 different players the last few years. Bad example if u wanna point to lack of development

Also Florida and a&m have underachieved, they're just as jeckyl and Hyde as we are. I get the frustration and we wouldn't get in if we finished at 17-15. That said , I don't think we finish that way.

Yea I didn’t mention development. Actually think Hall has come a LONG way since he was a freshman. Not sure if Avery or just maturity but he has improved
