I'm seeing is that the freshman have the desire to play defense.
I noticed it to and I think it is because Sexton, Herb and Petty are used to getting highlight s in high school. A lot of those highlights came from steals that led to fast breaks which led to alley-hoops and easy dunks. They like it so they go after it.

some of you need to go back and watch the first 30 minutes of that game the other night against our crappy opponent. We were barely winning and they were missing wide open shots all over the court.

What I look at through the first 2 games (and the exhibition) is the way we've finished games. We will improve in other areas of our game as the year goes on. But if we consistently finish games the way we have so far, the sky is the limit.

That is the EXACT reason I'm complaining. It doesn't matter what internet company I use, they're all very, very slow where I live. They told me it's impossible to get fast wifi where I live

I just about guarantee there is a way for you to get high speed internet.

What TV do you have and how is your cell phone data coverage at your house? Verizon has a can-tenna solution where you can get 10gb for about $50 a month. That is enough data to stream about 20 hours of SD video. You can get more data and also lump it with your phone plan. AT&T probably has a similar service. Also, both Dish and Direct Tv partner with satellite internet providers. There are weather issues with the satellite solution but you can usually get more data for your money with them.

I don't even have that option. No wires run where I'm at. It's Hughes net through the satellite or nothing

Thats how I am. Hughes net was AWFUL, youre internet only goes fast between 1AM and 9AM. Im on dish now and its a little better but not by much.

Exactly. I'm in a two year contract at $64/mo right now with Hughes net. It will get cut off as soon as it runs out. It sucks so bad when the average person wants to use it. They partnered with direct tv which is who I have tv with

Anyone who thinks Lipscomb is a crappy opponent is probably a casual basketball watcher. I agree about the way we re finishing so far. In college basketball you need guys who can close games...We have that now

Sorry meant finish in close games. Good point abt guys being used to getting fast break points off of defense and turnovers

Anyone who thinks Lipscomb has the athletes we will face down the line is living in a dream world.

we did finish well. That was a plus.

Honestly I'm more concerned about teams that are crisp and do what they do well. The least of my concerns is matching up athletically.

Teams like UAH and Lipscomb, early in the season against a young team of guys who have never played together, can be terrifying.

My FAVORITE part about all of the freshmen.................they are confident as frick. They aren't scared of anything. It's such a welcome change.

I don’t think anybody is making that claim.

A 20 point win against a team like Lipscomb is still a quality W especially considering we were without our 2nd best player and another multi-year starter.

We dodged a bullet not getting Marshall. He may have a few screws loose.

Avery is also 1-0 against Marshall during his time at Bama. He beat a ranked Wichita State his first year

Dead on abt teams that are crisp and fundamentally sound. Those are more scary to face with a young team.
