Hard not to drool over that. Would be hard to choose a starting lineup out of that group. My pick would be Butler, Petty, Jones, Watford, and Giddens with Ingram being the sixth man and Key, Reese, and Mack filling out a 9-man rotation. My guess is at least 2 of those 9 would transfer if nobody goes pro (looking at Ingram and Mack, as they would likely qualify as grad transfers). Even so, that's still a stacked team.

I agree that at least two of those guys would probably be gone. My guess would be Key grad transferring to a team closer to home like NC State, and Petty going pro after his sophomore year.

Not up to date with his academics, but he'd have to graduate in 3 years. Wouldn't surprise me to see him transfer after this year if he doesn't turn it around.
Edit: just saw the B/R update "Alabama loses 4-star guard" and I just about lost it. Thought it was Butler.

ESPN (BBall recruiting I use) had Bama at #8 but even still, there is a huge difference between UK's classes and Bama's classes beyond "Rank"
John Petty wouldn't even break into the top 3 recruits in UK's class in 6 of the past 7 years
UK normally signs 2-3 Sexton caliber recruits then another 2-3 recruits better than Petty

Really don't know what to expect tomorrow. We've generally play pretty well at home, so maybe we'll do that again.

They’re saying every seat will include what I’m guessing is a white shirt. I’d still wear white just in case.

I'd find that hard to say for sure until we see him play more than 15 games worth of heavy minutes. I am hoping he is because we need good shooters. Regardless, it's not just talent that I'd be basing that on. Ingram is a good sixth man candidate because he can play 1-3 (and even 4 in a small lineup) and fill more holes in the lineup. Plus, in this scenario he likely get all the backup PG minutes and will spend and equal to greater amount of time at the 2 & 3 as well.

I think they’re laying the shirts on the seats.
Funny story about that. I went to the Alabama-Auburn game last year when we did the “Crimson Out” game or whatever u want to call it. Every seat had a crimson roll tide shirt on it. There was a guy near my section who was walking around just picking up shirts off of every seat during halftime (maybe it was a Tv timeout, can’t remember). He had a stack of probably 30 shirts and was walking around still collecting them. He got to our section and my dad got mad and called him out on it and they got in a little heated argument
my dad embarrassed him and he moved on away from us and didn’t come back. Made me mad tho bc a family in front of us had just left to go to the restroom or something and they came back to see their shirts were gone. I hate those kind of people.

I worry that we will find a way to win the next two against Missouri and OU then shite the bed again against the next 3. That’s been our pattern. Build some resume’ points then piss them away.

sorry to be Debbie Downer but I see us loser by double digits and after the first 10 minutes it not even being close. I hope I am wrong but I don't think we can keep their stud in check.

I disagree. Usually under Avery, we’ve pretty much always been able to slow down key players for the most part. There are a couple exceptions. But we’ve had success gameplanning to stop star players like him. Now, Trae is on another level. I know that. But if we can just hold him to 20 or 25 points instead of his 30 or 40 like he usually gets, I think that’ll give us a really good shot to win.

Here’s what’s left. If we hold serve at home, that’s 6 more W’s but they are the toughest teams in the league with the exception being LSU. We could lose any of the other 5 without a doubt. Of the 5 road games left, only StarkVegas is a realistically good chance at a W. The rest would be pretty good upsets. A middle of the road scenario would be 6-5 down the stretch with a couple of wins we shouldn’t get and a couple of losses we should have avoided. Does 19-13 get us in? I think it puts us in that gray area of maybe in, but maybe on the bubble depending on how tournaments go and how we finish. We’re not a slam dunk by any stretch unless we get hot now.

19 is almost a lock of getting in unless there’s an insane amount of conference tourney upsets. Now 18 wins is where it starts getting scary. That puts you in a 50/50 situation on selection Sunday
I would say 19 is a lock tho with our RPI and SOS being so high along with already having 2 top 11 RPI wins (Auburn and URI)
