The only similarities I see are that we drop games we shouldn't. Avery's tenure here is so odd. He's gotten great wins (Wichita State, Notre Dame, A&M, Auburn, and South Carolina), some "quality losses" in games we nearly won (UK, Zona, and Oregon), and then the inexcusable losses (Arkansas, Mississippi State, Texas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt).
I really think he's got just one more year. Byrne doesn't seem reluctant to fire a coach and go out and get his guy.

Ole Miss isn't trash, but it's one of the most winnable road games left on the schedule and one we desperately needed. And here's my problem with this game, just like the UGA game: road games are hard to win in the SEC. Always have been, always will be. But if you are top half of the league and you're playing a team not named UK or UF, you shouldn't get run out of the building in embarrassing fashion. And that's about to happen for the second time this year. That, my friends, is bullshite.

He's too damn streaky. He needs another year to polish up his game, because he's at the most a role player now. He has potential if he can learn to be a better ball handler and expand to being more than a spot up shooter.

I agree, but it's going to happen sometimes (UGA). We won at LSU, lost by one score at Vandy and are down 1 right now.
This isn't Gottfried losing every road game by 17.
