Yeah he can't afford to pick up needless fouls. We're fricking awful when Dazon isn't playing though. Saw it against Georgia, saw it in the second half vs Miss State, and we're seeing it tonight. Dazon isn't our best player, but he seems to be our most valuable one.

I feel like it's been ages since Sexton finished at the rim. I'd honestly rather he take less shots and focus on distributing the ball. He's struggled, but he's still good at passing the ball.

I'm not getting mad though because, as I've said 5 times, I never expected to win this game.

We're gonna go down 15 and then make a run to 7 then back to 12 then one last run to 4 or so then lose by 8.

Avery stayed in that zone to long. They made adjustments and we didn't change.

Y'all can talk shite about him all you want. All I know is that when Dazon checks out, the other team always seems to go on a run, and against the one good team we played without him, we got fricking killed.

Yup. I dunno if he's pressing or just in a funk. He seems to be trying too much to either not being a ball hog or to go to the rim and DEFINITELY shoot.

It takes away a lot of the stuff he does best, mainly draw help defense and dish to the open guy.

Our 2 biggest wins (URI and Auburn) he didnt even hardly play.
It also helped that Auburn couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat in the middle of the ocean.

I really wonder if we'll shake up the staff this offseason.

Coach ya seems worthless. He didn't even get us in contention with any of the recruits he was supposed to get, and when I hear him interviewed, he seems like a college student still.

He started the run for them. Gave up a three, got last with the ball it goes out of bounds, and then gives up the end one on a lazy reach in. Its his fault he is on the bench.

I also know that Petty loves to sit around the perimeter and be a spot up shooter, but it would be great to see him run in the paint when Sexton drives, then take the ball to the rim when Sexton dishes it to him.

It's insane watching how well Young and Manek play when the push they ball upcourt.

I am becoming more convinced AJ is Anthony Grant with a personality.

This is my big worry about Avery. We're obviously a more talented team than Ole Miss. But we're being outcoached and out hustled. That is just bad coaching. If you can't get effort out of your team, you suck as a coach. I don't think he's the answer.

We don't really play the same as Grants teams at all.

The results are similar, though.

We don't play as good of defense, but we do stand around on offense at times

Ole Miss is pretty talented. They've massively underachieved this year, and they can legitimately shoot the basketball. They were picked by most to finish in the top half of the league. They beat Florida at home 10 days ago and lost 2 nailbiters on the road at A&M and Arkansas the last 2.

We look like our normal rag tag road self, but this was always going to be a tough game at their place.

I don't think Ole Miss is as bad as some of y'all are making out. They've won all of their home conference games including Florida. Three of their losses came in OT.

Another uncontested offensive rebound. The effort on the road has got to improve.

Yep - and have played well lately.

Still a game we should expect to win if we are going to be a good team, but they aren't trash.
