I'm just going to shite on RealTime RPI real quick. They have us losing all of our remaining away games (including RPI 190, 167 and 111), yet winning all of our home games (including RPI 3, 6, 11, 22, 30 and 36). I feel like they're being just a tad lazy with these predictions

I’m pretty sure they won’t show up to play on Monday considering we don’t have a game that day hopefully they show up Tuesday night at Vandy tho lol

I think the third thing was how the refs officiated the game in the post (very few fouls on either team).

This could just as well be considered a plus for A&M. If A&M's bigs had gotten on foul trouble trying to get rebounds, they would've really been done in this game.

They played Florida tough yesterday, and they have good shooters. Considering how poorly we defend the 3pt line, it could be trouble.

Vandy went the first 7 minutes of the game without a point yesterday, so they are capable of scoring droughts. We need to take advantage and build a lead if that happens

I'd really love to see us start the game by feeding Hall on those pick and rolls inside, get the opposing big in foul trouble early, then start opening it up from the perimeter.

Loved that play Hall had inside when he was acting like he was coming to set a screen, then got the pass from Petty and drived to the basket.

I'd disagree since A&M offense would benefit more from Bama losing a rim protector, since they couldn't shoot outside, than foul trouble for their bigs. Also, their bigs Williams/Davis rarely are in foul trouble all year

Bama just did a much better job of taking advantage of the physical game allowed by the refs.

You would think Davis w his size would thrive in a physical game, but it was very clear he was frustrated and couldn't handle it

That may have been as much due to Donta Hall as the refs.

You hear "player development" thrown around all the time, but there's no better example in the world of it than Hall. When he first came to Bama, he couldn't get out of the way of his own feet on offense, committed a foul pretty much every trip on defense, and was lucky to hit the rim or backboard from the free throw line.

Now three years later, I'm not kidding when I say he's second only to Sexton in importance to this team. He's an absolute force on both ends and will earn his living playing basketball.

Almost every single game we play the rest of the season will be a toss-up type game, outside of maybe home games with LSU/USCe which will be must win types.

It's going to be a grind, but everything is in front of us.

Reminds me of Roy Rodgers from back in the day. Very simlar development pattern.

Ive thought this too. Every possession in our set halfcourt offense needs to have a Donta Screen and roll with either Collin finishing at the rim,Passing to Donte,or kicking out to Petty.

We can and need to win these next 3. You won't hear me say that much.

These are the lower level SEC teams.

This stretch of 8 SEC games to start conference play is huge. With the way the schedule ends we HAVE to play well and win most of these games.

vs Texas A&M (W)
@ Vandy
@ Georgia
vs South Carolina
@ LSU
vs Auburn
vs Miss St
@ Ole Miss

I think to feel like we are in good shape going into the Oklahoma game we need to go 6-2 at worst over that stretch. And, honestly, 7-1 is probably needed.

6-2 would put us at 14-6 (6-2) going into the Oklahoma game with a nasty stretch after that

vs Missouri
@ Florida
@ Miss St
vs Tennessee
vs LSU
@ Kentucky
@ Auburn
vs Arkansas
vs Florida
@ Texas A&M

I think we can go 7-1 in that stretch. @Vandy is gonna be the toughest one.

I'm not banking on anything at this point. Need to though.

I would've thought we'd be favored by 4 or 5
