07 was the most dissapointing. I know Steele played at like 50% the whole 2nd half of the season but that team should have at least made the tournament

You guys would see Gottfried's terrible defense and want him gone the first game.

I was seriously considering dropping $100 on 4 tickets to take my family to the Oklahoma game in January. That’s not happening now unless some major adjustments are made. I’ve already been to 2 home games this year and I’ve watched every second of every game including the online ones and I’ve seen them get progressively worse and worse...

I've never gotten so mad at sports in my life than watching Gottfried teams play road games.

Should we go with the strategy from Avery's first year with Sexton being our Retin? Just play a slow game, rely on one guy to score, and hope to get enough stops to win.

Really wasn't that bad of a strategy unless Retin had a bad game. I really don't care about gaudy offensive numbers, just play efficient and solid basketball. If we can win games with doing what he did with Retin, then I'm all for it. Just win fricking games.

Why does Anthony and Avery not recruit players that can shoot the ball?? Im no basketball genius but if I was a coach I think the #1 most important trait in a player I recruit would be Can he Shoot the fricking ball!!

Folks I know at the game said that the team took shoot around like a joke. They were doing silly layups, etc.

Man, I’m so disappointed right now. I feel like I’ve been mentally abused all my life.....oh wait, I have by Bama basketball smh. Please just let us make the dang tourney for fricking one year. That’s all I ask. And maybe a tourney win to top it off. Who am I kidding tho

Yeah there was a video on twitter that someone posted where Donta Hall was behind the bench and shot a 3 and made it.....what good does that do in the game?

What I got from that game from being there was Mamba is really fricking good, we don’t have consistent enough 3 pt shooting, don’t have any threat of jumper 2 pt shots, and can’t defend the 3 on defense.

One more thing. Y’all remember I think it was yesterday when Avery was interviewed. He said something like “Usually our players come out to practice with their clown hats on, but they didn’t today”. WHY THE FRICK is that happening in the first place?!?! Every high school coach I EVER had demanded full attention and no joking around or anything during practice and if we did we were running a ton of sprints after practice. Why is Avery allowing it???

Avery Johnny Jones Johnson is going to take a lottery pick and miss the tournament. This team is regressing big time and we just got our arse beat by a team missing their 2nd best player. I think it's pretty clear why no team was coming after Avery after he failed out of the NBA.
