What did Demarcus Walkers coach say in the interview?

I'm an LSU fan disguise, I don't appreciate the remark you made about us.

...if you're talking to me you're gonna need to be a LOT more specific.

Last night we talked OL tonight I want your opinions on our LBS. Is it pretty set that Nico, Trey, CJ, Adrian, and Dickson are the top 5?

Pretty much. Nico will handle Mike duties, while CJ is our "Money" Linebacker, and will play Will in most situations, whereas on obvious run downs Trey will play Will. CJ isn't bad at all against the run, but it keeps him fresh and it lets Trey get playing time, plus he's just slightly better in that department. Ragland will play the role that Trey did last year.
Adrian and Dickson are set on the outside. A-Hubb is like our Jack LB and X-Dicks is likely our Sam LB. Dickson should make more of a splash when he is on the field than Harris did. Hubbard has a lot of upside and will give a lot of OTs trouble. I think he can grab 10 sacks, especially if we play 14 games. Dickson is a 4-5 sack guy who can get after QBs from the outside (something Harris wasn't that good at) however he won't beat Hubbard to a sack.
We won't see as much of a drop off at LB as people think.

No problem. I didn't say anything that anyone else wouldn't have told ya. Your thoughts?

It is young group. I think there is enough experience for it to be effective this year, but long term that is going to be an awesome group. And with Anderson, Ragland, Duvall, and Lee just arriving on campus.

I think that our more experienced defensive line will help guys like Dickson and Hubbard survive on talent early in the season.

I'm really excited about Anderson and Ragland. Duvall and Lee will be good players too, but Ragland and Anderson have the highest upside in my opinion. I think the Trey/Reggie duo in 2013 (Unless CJ hits his head and decides to come back instead of making money) will be like the Ro/Hightower duo.

Another site reported something different 2 nights FWIW.
Nico at Will, Depreist at Mike, Hubbard/Dickson at Jack and Mosely at Sam. In nickle or passing downs, Nico comes off the field and CJ Mosley slides to inside LB alongside Depreist. There were even some looks in the spring where they put Hubbard at Mike.

Trey at Mike over Nico? Seems odd, though it could work. Mosley at Sam would work too, supposing Dickson/Hubbard are in on passing downs to rush.
That is unless CJ is apparently some top tier pass rusher because of how quick he is, and we've just never seen him do it before.

It looks like the staff if that is correct is just trying to get the best out there on the field at the same time. They also said that Dickson and Hubbard at Jack it would depend on the down and distance who was in.

Ah. Well, they're the professionals. Mosley IS considered an OLB at the next level, so playing him there can work, I just hope he records more stats than Harris.
