He was surprised that Reuben announced when he did, not that he committed to Auburn. Like I said, I'm not really sure why he suddenly called a press conference so late at night for the next day.

Well something happend rather fast for him to be up at the opening talking about all the rings he is going to have and all that and then come back and hit is with the okeedoke

Walker and Henry prob 97% to UA, Foster and Thomas just depends on the family. Foster will visit next week with his family, if they give the ok I think he goes to UA. Thomas is trying to get his mother up to TTown. He has said openly that UA leads for several months now. He said his mother wants him to stay close to home. If we ca get her on campus I think we get Thomas as well. Foster and Thomas 55%(just depends on them visiting with family.
The other name to watch for is Tunsil. He recently named a top 3 of UA, UGA, and UF. He was just quoted this week saying he has not heard from UGA and only taked with UF via facebook, but our staff is recruiting him hard and looks to be visiting end of July or early Aug with family.

This may be true, but he continued to tell our staff that there was "nothing to worry about with me" and that he was "just having fun. I'm 100% Bama". It was a shock to our guys. This isn't like Yeldon. Yeldon almost decommitted from AU twice last year and your staff was able to talk him back into the fold. You guys knew that was a possibility (regardless of what is said publicly).
The weird thing is, if he was in the fold with AU since BCW, why was he telling Bo Scar, Tenpenny, Henry, etc. that he was 100% Bama less than a week before the switch? I get telling recruiting sites that you are 100%, but you could tell other recruits you're gone and ask them to keep it quiet.
I'm convinced there was a falling out between the Sunday before the switch and the Tuesday before the switch, but I don't know what happened. I've pressed for details and all I've heard back is that "he told us he was 100% on Sunday and by Tuesday we knew he was gone".

He was only telling that to Bama commits/leans. Nick Glass, Tray Matthews, and all Auburn commits have said all he talked about was Auburn when they were around him

What happened with foster to make him flip when he did was the Saban phone call, trust me.

Yes, but Lawson and Liner had said Foster would be an AU Tiger. Which they were laughed at for saying and that was said a while ago by them.
We have been there with Yeldon, who told our coaches, media, etc that he was all Auburn. BTW I stopped trying to make sense of teenagers choices.

And this is one of the quotes that leads me to believe Foster has been committed for a while. It's from AU LB commit Trey Johnson's coach when Foster flipped:

I could believe the BigCat weekend. I saw the week he transferred to AuHS most our insiders were saying watchout the word is Foster could flip. Anyone that did not see this comming is blind. The only thing the phone call did at best was just make him make the decision eaarlier.

I hear ya. I still think this recruitment and Yeldon's are not as similar as some want to think. Like I said, Yeldon tried to decommit twice and was talked back into the fold. AU staff knew he was considering the switch and were not shocked once it ultimately happened. Our staff was shocked until 2 days before the switch.
Either way, both TJ and Foster will do well for their respective teams.
