He'd be a beast NT or a beast OL in my opinion. This kid is just a damn beast.

I really think Taylor stays at OG. Even with Jesse Williams graduating this coming year, we're looking good at NG. Brandon Ivory is coming along and Darren Lake looks like he has the tools to provide depth. I think a redshirt on Korren Kirven could see him move inside. Darius Page will be here next summer.

True, but if Taylor stays at OL this season he better be our T-Bob and get a lot of PT so he isn't raw when he starts the next seasons.

Though I prefer him at NT. Even though the 6'1" 315lb guys can get it done (or in Williams case, 6'4" 320lb), I really like having the 6'5"ish 330+ guys on the inside. It doesn't matter as long as they can get the job done, but it's just a matter of preference.

Gulledge is listed as OL and Ball is listed as DL in the new media guide. Of course, that's not set in stone but that's where I would expect each of them start.

I shouldn't forget about Dalvin Tomlinson either. He is 6-2 285. A redshirt year could see him playing inside too. He would be a swing guy like Kirven. Tomlinson's wrestling background makes him ideal for NG, if he can get the weight on.

Dakota Ball reminds me of a slightly bigger built Nick Gentry.

I still feel Gentry should have gotten a chance as an UDFA. I know measurables and such, but seriously even against double teams against teams like LSU he was in the back field as often as Upshaw, and Upshaw played a shite ton more.

Also, Idk if you didn't see or what, but do you think we move Steen to C in 2013?

Do we really want basically four new starters in 2013? That's what we would get if Steen moved to another position. I think we'll need as much continuity as possible with two starters back.

Well true, but I prefer having a trusted guy in the middle than someone who barely saw PT the year before, but keeping him at RG would still be fine.

anybody heard how Chad Lindsey is developing? And is there reason to think Arie's knees will ever allow him to play?

I would think Kirven, Tomlinson, and Paige will all play defensive end in our system.

The fact that he was in pads on A-day and is on the roster in the 2012 media guide are positive signs IMO

He didn't play A-day but he was dressed out. Same with Lacy and B. Sims.

I'm just talking about the flexibility of our system to allow any of them to move inside if they grow in stature for a NG. That being said, Page stated he was recruited for NG.

Well then I guess they expect Paige to put on a good bit of weight.
