We are in the top 2 or lead for the top 3 players in Louisiana for 2014 and LSU fans are scared shitless, so funny.

Luther Davis went to West Monroe and had an LSU offer
his offer got pulled when he lied to the coaches about the bama visit. luther up until signing day tried to get back into the LSU class, but the coaches had wiped their hands of him.

You're acting like a typical Alabama fan, pal.
No one is scared.
Alabama was "in it" for DeSean Smith, Ricky Jefferson, John Diarse.
Alabama is "in it" for Tim Williams and Kendell Beckwith, but you won't be getting both.
LSU doesn't have the same, lazy recruiters they had before this season. Good luck getting the players that your uninformed mind thinks you're going to get

Roll Tide! Speaking of Luther I bet he enjoyed 21 0. And getting to be a part of a championship for himself. I guess Miles knew what was best for Luther.

I guess Gator fans think they are getting Walker this weekend.

Bama really need to hit on a full evaluation of a NG, they haven't done so yet. Chapman has been the best one out of HS, and he was evaluated in only a few weeks.
Personally I want Alphonse Taylor to be our next NG after Jesse. I think it'll be a battle all this season for the second string job and throughout the spring they'll probably continue to duke it out.

quote:It's a LSU based forum, a huge one at that. You're going to run across idiots and paranoid folks. Bama fans running around spouting "SCARED. Lead for LA's top 2 players" (when that isn't the case) isn't helping.
The admins have ruined this thread. There used to be tons of information and legit discussion and now it's just corndogs with their feelings hurt flaming about jack lb and god knows what. They wouldn't ever put up with this sort of flaming in other threads. 1/9/12 changed this site.
Way to go.
It was shitty before the NC game. All we heard after the 1st game was "9-6" from one side and "better team lost" from the other. Wasn't much good convo going on

As much as we appreciate all the useful feedback we've been getting from LSU fans about LA prospects the last couple days, you guys should realize that you're not going to convince us that we don't have a chance for LF as long as a couple recruiting analysts (one of which who has no affiliation with Bama) say that Bama has a great shot. Anything can happen in recruiting which is why you're not going to convince us that we have no shot and we're not going to convince you that Bama leads. So just keep that in mind and realize that inside the Bama recruiting thread there will be optimistic posts about Bama's chances just like the LSUrb is full of optimistic threads about LSU and their targets

I don't see many saying you don't have a good shot with Fournette; I'd say most think he'll end up at LSU which isn't unreasonable. LSU has a lot of work to do with him though.
Not sure where all the Robinson to Bama or Shows is a Saban fanboy is coming from. He made some nice comments after a visit, nothing I'd personally go nuts over if a kid said about LSU. Just saying I'd temper my expectations on him.

No one is saying that Bama leads for Robinson, just that we're in his top 2. Apparently we can't even say that without ruffling the feathers of LSU fans causing them to come over here and remind us that we have absolutely no shot with him.

There have been a few. Others have said a very good chance. Id link but I'm on my phone.
You don't think id be met with resistance on a texas recruiting board talking about how he lead for their best players regardless of the truth around it?

That's the key phrase. We have justification for believing we lead for LF and we're in the top 2 for a couple of other LA prospects.

And we have as good or better of a chance at raiding texas in 14. Doesn't mean they'd take kindly to it

Speaking of which, Bama leads for 2014 OL Demetrius Knox. See, it's not just Louisiana that Bama is pillaging.

“Alabama’s pretty much my number one right now. I really don’t have a two or three. I’m just trying to sit back and watch this season and see how everyone does, but for sure Alabama’s number one. They’re real big on winning and I really like their O-Line coach and strength and conditioning coach- he’s pretty cool. Getting the offer from Nick Saban that day really meant a lot.

LSU fans won't take kindly to the "bama leads" stuff regardless of how true it is regarding certain kids.

because obviously the only two options are "bama leads" or "bama has no shot"
I didn't say they are the only two options but they are the 2 options most commonly argued ITT

Ill say we get Fournette, Willis, and Robinson. The rest ill concede.
Reasoning for each:
Fournette: Burton Burns and supposedly we have the lead as of early and we are turning into RBU.
Willis: LC
Robinson: Low on OL and will sell him on starting as a freshman if he wins it. Or at worst solid PT.

I am sure Les Miles' rivalry with Luther Davis has helped pave the way for guys like Eddie Lacy, Denzall Duvall, Kenny Bell,Landon Collins and Raheem Falkins.
