Best case scenario right now for us in this class :

Walker, Thomas, Henry, Tunsil, Mac Alexander, Rob. Foster, and who would be our other two, in a best case scenario? I wanna say Montravius Adams, but I don't think we've got much of a shot with him.

I say this all the time, but I would love it if we signed six OL in this class. I just do not know if beyond KSM and Tunsil there is anyone else we are pursuing. Most say corner is the place on our roster with the least depth, but I think we are dangerously low at quality depth on the OL.

KSM should be commiting soon, right?

The admins have ruined this thread. There used to be tons of information and legit discussion and now it's just corndogs with their feelings hurt flaming about jack lb and god knows what. They wouldn't ever put up with this sort of flaming in other threads. 1/9/12 changed this site.

Way to go.

No. When we got this new thread and every post that wasn't about recruiting was deleted this board sucked.

I have heard mixed reviews, but most say Ryan Kelly is our center for the future. If that is the case then I hope Luatua takes Warmack's spot and then you have a three man battle to replace Fluker between Greene, Shepherd, and Brown. I guess it is possible that AK could have healed up by that point.

I'm not sold on him.

Luatua seems like the best choice. Shepherd and Brown will battle for the RT position. I think Leon has more talent, but we'll have to see who wins the battle.

AK will be a sixth man like OL.

If not Kelly who is our other option at center? Chad Lindsey?

Sadly it just doesn't feel like any of our choices are that good. Mostly because we had William "Look out for me in the top DTs highlight film" Vlachos and now Jones for our BCS winning teams. Somebody will step up, I'm sure.

He'll fill LG or RT on '13, he's the only lineman on the 2nd string that they really like as a solid starter right now. He's the 6th lineman this year like McCullough this past year.

The word coming out of spring and summer workouts is the Ryan Kelly is likely the sixth lineman. Filling in at center and moving Barrett Jones to where he would be needed (guard or tackle).

Which position it will be is up to the RT situation. Fluker could for some reason return, Leon Brown could succeed/fail at RT, and Laremy Tunsil could end up there IF he comes to Bama.

I really feel that the 2013 offensive line will look like this:

LT - Cyrus Kouandjio
LG - Issac Luatua/Arie Kouandjio
C - Ryan Kelly
RG - Anthony Steen
RT - Austin Sheppard/Leon Brown

The good news is there is still a lot of practice and work outs before 2013. And a healthy AK could be effective at guard or tackle.

Regardless what it looks like, an O-Line with Cyrus K and Steen should still hold up just fine. It won't be like the 2011 line was or the 2012 will be, but it'll be good enough for all of our RBs.

Plus :

Senior AJ McCannon throwing to pretty much every WR he threw to last year plus new ones, every TE/H-Back minus Michael Williams, plus OJ and McNeil, and every RB he threw to minus Lacy.

D-Line will lose Dial, Williams, and Square, but Stinson, Pagan, Ivory/Taylor, and Pettway should all see plenty of PT this season. At LB we'll bring back A-Hubb and Dickson, as well as Trey DePriest. Ragland will likely play in the middle with Trey, and CJ could always return, though I doubt he will. Sunseri/HaHa/Collins at Safety, and in all likelihood Fulton/Dixon/Belue will all be back. If Milliner got hit over the head hard enough and decided to come back to then GG QBs.

But we've still got a long way to go before the 2013 season.

Our defensive line and linebackers should be a thing of beauty for the foreseeable future. Especially if Lake develops as some are saying and if Ivory can have a decent career.
