When exactly is Robert Foster's visit and are there any family members or coaches coming with him?

Thursday. His coach will accompany him to Tuscaloosa.

Brandon Jacobs has had a long successful career as a huge running back.

Actually, he's been hurt quite a bit because of his size and larger target area.

No way Saban puts a guy at running back that is 6'3 250 plus. Just my opinion, though.

TJ Duckett weighed 1 million lbs and was rated by everyone as a LB but Saban played him at RB

Sucks for him that after Yeldon proves he can do it in a real game TJ will be the #2 back.

Jim Brown arguably the best Rb in history 6'2 232 pounds.

Eddie George won the Heisman and was 6'3 240.

as long as Derrick Henry can stay under 6'3 245 I think he will play rb, and will do very well.He won the high jump at the Opening, he is just a freak athlete, who is huge but excels at rb.

he's played in 100 games over 7 season. Thats 14.28 games per season. So injury prone.

Derrick Henry visited Alabama for the second time this summer and he left Tuscaloosa on Monday. The Crimson Tide have increased their lead over other schools and he talks about that and more here.

Prior to the injury, Brandon Jacobs had operated primarily as Bradshaw's backup, averaging a little over nine carries per game and 3.1 yards per carry.

Not to mention in those 100 games, he averages less than 11 carries per game. That's not really top flight RB material right there.

Just for comparison
MJD - 16 carries/game
Ray Rice - 15.7 carries/game
Gore - 16.5 carries/game
McGahee - 14.9 carries/game
Lynch - 15.8 carries/game

Regardless of NFL careers there is a lot more room for range in size in college than the NFL. The further you go the less being a little bigger matters because of how big and fast the linebackers and DL.

Man if we can land Robert Foster, Demarcus Walker, and Derrick Henry then anything after that will just be extra.

Its crazy how good this class is and how well a lot of the players fit exactly what Alabama wants to do offensively and defensively.

Man I'm super excited right now. Very happy to get McNeil on board and to grab another solid linebacker in Walker Jones.

I say Foster, Henry, Walker, KSM, and I want at least one more high profile OL. The leaves us with one or two spots to do whatever with. I would not mind filling either of the two with more OL. That is
the only spot we lack depth.

Kendall Beckwith is a possibility too, he'll most likely either sign with us or LSU.

Based on an interview with FSU 24/7 White is really digging his heels in that he is not flipping to UA. Depending on how develop Washington and Sylve I am not sure we need to take more than Maurice Smith and the other athletes that can play CB. But honestly we need more OL so if he does not flip and we pick up a solid OL instead I will be happy.
