Sounds like our DBs were getting abused.

No Cyrus, lack of experience at Safety, no context.

I wouldn't worry yet, we have really talented WRs.

I wanna see QB stats. Don't know that we will, but I wanna see em.

I'm going to hope that it was 1s vs 2s. If not, we are in for another year of every qbs wild pass being completed for 30 yards.

Glad to see we were able to run well against the best D Line in the SEC

Interesting that Piersbacher seemed to be taking an injured Taylor's reps, maybe he'll keep the LG job even if Taylor gets healthy.

Bozeman is strong, but Saban didn't mention him. Wonder how he's doing at RG? Obviously Saban isn't gonna mention everyone.

Right?

Though Saban did say he was pleased with the OL.

Looks like we will be seeing a lot of Flowers and Harris. think about if we didn't have good depth at the RB position.

Suttles scared the shite out of me until I actually read this tweet

To those asking, yes Bo Scarbrough tore his ACL during high school. He also broke an ankle, too, if I remember correctly.

yep. luckily Flowers is here and he looks very physically impressive. Harris will need to get here quick and learn the blocking schemes. I'm a little bit worried about him adjusting to the SEC coming from Kentucky high school football.

Also, Ronnie Clark, who is himself coming off a leg injury, will need to be prepared to possibly see some carries. Maybe he can be like a Jacob Hester type back.

Damn, Bo has been hurt a lot, if this is true.

another potential option would be Anthony Averett. He was a RB/QB/DB in high school. They were just trying him at WR and mentioned they were looking for a spot for him. i think we are fairly stacked at the DB department, especially with the freshmen safeties looking good. Averett has got plenty of speed, but he's 6'0" 180, so they'd need to put some weight on him.

Meh, its grown man football. Injuries will happen. I feel bad for the guys that get injured, but I'm not going to act surprised and put-down when a guy gets his leg twisted up.

I wasn't very high on Flowers out of high school, but I'm very thankful that we have him. I think Harris will get a lot of time by the halfway point of the season.
