Drop Young and maybe Miller. Also, add Yuklich. He turned Michigan's defense around.

Yeah, dude completely turn their defense around. Plus, he's from Illinois that's a hotbed for strong coaching fundamentals. He could come in here with a plan on recruiting and developing talent.

Worst case? Competing with UCLA and Texas for a HC.

UCLA is definitely in the market. Texas, I don’t know, they might give Shaka 1 more year. UCLA probably makes Musselman a plan B guy. They will go after Mark Few and maybe Hoiberg or Donovan if they are available. They want a big name and a big splash hire.
Texas could be a competitor for our candidates. Let’s hope they keep Smart. I’d bet they would take Barnes back.
Speaking of Barnes, I’d at least make a call to his agent to gauge his interest. Who knows? Maybe we could steal him.

Yep. Scary thought. I can’t stand that prick, but I’d learn to like him at Bama

That'd be a hell of a coup. UT is a better job for basketball.

Do they have proven success or are they just hot names? I dont want another hot name because that was Anthony Grant. Need a proven winner at a major college imo. Not major as in a blue blood.

Does he still have his dad sit at the end of the bench while he coaches the Thunder?

I wouldn’t mind having him come here.

Oates is in his 4th season as head coach. He finished 3rd in his league and won the tourney and the auto bid. 20-15. 2nd year, 3rd place again but no Dance. 17-15. 3rd year 27-9 won regular season and tourney. Got to round of 32. This year he’s currently 22-3 and in 1st place. He’s making $600,000.
