Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports reports that the NCAA has denied Ole Miss’s request for a reconsideration of quarterback Trinidad Chambliss’ eligibility waiver.

Chambliss has now had his waiver, appeal, and reconsideration denied.

The news came out during Thursday's injunction hearing, with hopes of retaining eligibility for the Ole Miss quarterback. A successful injunction would allow Chambliss to play in 2026, regardless of the NCAA's decision.

A final decision is expected to come sometime on Thursday.

At this point, he's going to need a couple more years of eligibility just to earn enough to cover his legal costs from everything he's filed to get one more year.
