by TD Staff ReporterFebruary 9, 2016

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN is reporting that the Ole Miss Football program has been cited for 13 of the 28 rules violations by NCAA. Out of the 13 violations, nine of them occurred under current coach Hugh Freeze's watch.
quote:Ole Miss has 90 days to respond to the notice of allegations.
The violations are a mix of Level I, II and III; the NCAA considers Level I violations the most serious. Many of the violations have already been self-reported by the school.
The school's women's basketball and track and field programs are also involved in the investigation.

"This is an ongoing investigation and I doubt Ole Miss will be eligible for Atlanta or a bowl over at least the next 4 years."
Next 4 years? They have NEVER made it to Atlanta and haven't won the SEC in 50 years. I don't think we have to worry about Atlanta regardless of this investigation.

If I were a recruit that just signed with Ole Miss, I would go play somewhere else.

What will their new talking points be now that we know the majority of the violations were not in women's basketball?

Well, here is a school in North friggin Mississippi which is a traditional doormat in the SEC and all of a sudden they are signing 4 and 5 star national recruits? Hell, they were struggling to sign many in state kids but all of a sudden with the arrival of one Hugh Freeze from that powerhouse Arkansas State program and Ole Miss is in on kids from coast to coast. I mean this is a program which has not won an SEC Football title since 1963 and has never won the SEC West and never represented the SEC West in Atlanta in the SEC Championship Game. There are certainly far more than a few violations by Freeze and Co. Some of it came out in the Tunsil incident earlier this year. His Step Dad almost blew thel lid off the cheating at Ole Miss for grade tampering. Ole Miss is dirty and everyone knows it.
