Georgia Tech sophomore defensive end Jared Ivey is transferring to Ole Miss, according to Matt Zenitz of On3Sports.

Ivey is a former four-star prospect from Suwanee, Georgia.

Ivey played in 17 games in two seasons at Georgia Tech before entering the portal. As a freshman, he started two games, posting eight tackles and one tackle for loss. This season, he played a bigger role for the Yellow Jackets, totaling 32 tackles with six tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, one pass defended and one forced fumble.

6 TFLs including 1.5 sacks doesn't exactly scream difference maker. Hope they load up on a lot more guys like that.
