ESPN College Football Insider Ryan McGee joined "McElroy and Cubelic In The Morning" this week and talked about Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, whom ESPN just released an E:60 on.

During the appearance, McGee said there are really only two jobs that could lure Kiffin away from Oxford: possibly Florida, but definitely Alabama. Per SDS:
quote:

“I think the only job he would have left Tennessee for was USC. And I think he probably has 1, maybe 2 jobs in his mind that he would really wrestle with if they came open,” McGee said. “He’s really happy, and I don’t know if he wants to mess with that… there are ties to Florida… but I think Alabama’s the one. If Alabama calls, I don’t care who you are: you return the call. But I don’t know. He seems really, really happy… I don’t know if you mess with that at this point.”

He seems to have a good life again now, family around and all that stuff. Be really stupid to mess that up.
But after seeing this new version of Lane and after the rehab from alcohol and Saban, I’d take him at LSU in a Heartbeat if things don’t work out for Kelly here.
He is an extremely smart guy.

These guys love overrating the Bama job.
Bama couldn't even pull Rich Rod before Saban.
Saban built Bama, why would Kiffin want to that.

RIchRod didn't take it because it isn't for everybody and he didn't want the pressure
Lane Kiffin loved being at Bama
