Is he right? With all the chatter about Deion Sanders leaving Colorado for the Dallas Cowboys, Paul Finebaum thinks it would actually be an easier job for him...
quote:

“It makes more sense with the Cowboys really than it did even at Colorado because in some ways, it’s an easier job,” Finebaum said. “I know that sounds ridiculous. But what he’s had to overcome at Colorado, to get them in a situation where we’re talking about them a conference champion or maybe even a CFP entrant is really spectacular and one of the craziest stories I’ve ever seen.”

“Not only does he help the locker room, he might be the only person in America that Jerry Jones will listen to,” he said. “And that’s the most important thing. Yes, he relies on his son, but he would also look at Deion as his other son. And I think that could be the ticket.

“We all know the glitz and the glamour of the most valuable franchise in sports. You put Deion in there, not only as the centerpiece of that, put some great coaches around him, which obviously would have to happen and let Jerry pay attention to someone other than himself.”

Jerry ain't gonna listen to Deion either. You think Deion would let Jerry handle postgame press conferences? That relationship wouldn't last 2 months. Jerry is having fun as he always wanted to be a "football" guy . He isn't into the winning as much as making the money and being a Cowboy public figure.

That actually might not be a bad idea. He has made incrddible hires after his first year and they have all paid off. Last year they had the #124 scoring defense, this year they are top 50. They are a better scoring team as well as they are up 4 ppgs from there too. There are only 3 games where they haven't scored at least 34 points and in two of those games, they scored 28.

Also, you don't have to worry about recruiting, and he'd get way more respect at the NFL level as well.
