Cincinnati Bengals legend Boomer Esiason is calling out his former team for being cheap...
quote:

Per SI.com...Former Cincinnati quarterback and Ring of Honor inductee Boomer Esiason revealed on his WFAN radio show on Friday that the team invited him via email to the Ring of Honor weekend this October and included two complimentary tickets, but the ROH inductees have to pay for their hotels and any additional tickets.

Giannotti immediately shredded the invite to Esiason, who went into the ROH in September 2023.

"I mean, your name is on the stadium," He noted. "And they sent out, what seems to me is an email that went to many people. You know, how many people are in a Ring of Honor now? Eight? All right, so they should be getting different emails than this generic email."

I’m not a Burrow fan but I feel for him.

That’s his instate pro team and he gets the chance to win a championship there, have to imagine that’s tough to walk away from… but they’re the Bengals and he absolutely should.

I suspect if they don’t get it together Joe will ask for a trade in a year or two. His good years are now. His game is on point. I’d really hate to see him waste it.

He should have thanked them and said he couldn’t make it due to limited funds.

That would be crumbs based off the amount they make for that game. Smh

Hang on, is Corey Dillion (who is also in the Bengals ROH) saying he got no invite at all? What is with this team?

If Joe burrow had any sense he’d sell that fur coat and offer boomer and the others an all expenses paid trip with the proceeds.
