According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, this is New Orleans Pelicans vice president of basketball operations David Griffin is looking for in return for a an Anthony Davis trade...
quote:

Griffin is pursuing a combination of assets that include an All-Star player, a young player with All-Star potential and two first-round picks, league sources said. Those wants are on a sliding scale. For example, the better the player, the softer the asks on the draft picks — and vice versa.
Makes sense.

First of all there's 3 players maybe 4 if you add Lebron that gives you the value of A.D. and that's K.D., The Greek Freak and K. Leonard. Now honestly there's not a team in the NBA that can give you equal value some teams have the players but not the draft capital and some have the capital but not the players. With that in mind I believe the best deal is with the Knicks I say trade A.D. for PG Emmanuel Mudiay 6'5" 200, PG Dennis Smith Jr. 6'3" 195, PF Kevin Knox 6'9" 215, C Mitchell Robinson 7'1" 240 and this years 3rd overall pick and 2 future 1st round picks. With that 3rd pick the Pelicans can turn that into SF RJ Barrett, now help me out here have a team ever in the history of the NBA had 2 of the top 3 picks in the same draft? With this deal the Pels get four young, talented, athletic players all still on their rookie contracts and they get to team Zion with his old partner in crime from Duke. With this deal you can still sign a FA or two and remain competitive even after losing a superstar.
