I would do the bare minimum as well if I was paid that much money and I wasn't a star. The NBA is star driven, just have a quiet and relaxed time being a support player or bench guy. Easy money.

Yeah, I’m sure the coaching staff and front office would never pick up on that and waive you at the first opportunity… like the next draft round, when there’d be rookies coming on board who will work to get off the bench (even if it’s only playing a few minutes during trash time blowouts).
