How fast is Orioles outfielder Cedric Mullins? So fast that he turned a blunder at shortstop into a triple...

not a triple. Error on the SS. But good for him for sprinting it out. Helps the team.

Every kid should watch this and learn why you always run it out.

If the play occurred because of "a blunder at shortstop", then presumably it is an error, not a triple.

Roger that...an error on the shortstop. Should of been an easy out. But an owner pays a player millions of dollars a year to blunder a simply play as a pop up!

They were in the shift so he was essentially playing 2nd base. Watch where he starts from. Long run

@Tigrdynasty, my point was that the ORIGINAL TigerDroppings headline--which called it a "blunder"--was wrong: if it occurred because of a blunder, then it's an error not, as the headline calls it, a triple. Since then the TigerDroppings headline has been changed. And I did watch the play, and I get that there's a potential disagreement whether it should be scored an error (although when it basically falls down and hits the defender's glove, I lean toward scoring that an error, regardless of how far the SS ran to get there).
