On Wednesday, the New York Mets announced that outfielder Tim Tebow is retiring from professional baseball...
quote:

“I want to thank the Mets, Mr. Alderson, the fans and all my teammates for the chance to be a part of such a great organization,” Tebow said in a statement. “I loved every minute of the journey, but at this time I feel called in other directions. I never want to be partially in on anything. I always want to be 100 percent in on whatever I choose. Thank you again for everyone’s support of this awesome journey in baseball, I’ll always cherish my time as a Met. #LGM”
Tebow, 33, signed with the Mets on September 8, 2016 and played three seasons. Is this a sign he may be joining his former coach Urban Meyer's staff in Jacksonville? Hmm...

Is he the last gator from the 2008 team to hang 'em up? I know he's not the first.

“... I feel called in other directions. I never want to be partially in on anything. Maybe you could play in that new league with Johnny Failure. He had an Instagram attention ho wife, too.
