Former New York Mets legend Dwight Gooden was arrested for a DUI in New Jersey on Monday night after cops say he was driving the wrong way down a 1-way street...
quote:

"At approximately 11:10 p.m., police patrolling the area of Ferry and Vincent streets conducted a motor vehicle stop of a 4-door 2012 black Chrysler observed driving in the wrong direction down a one-way street."

"EMS responded to the scene to evaluate the driver, who was arrested and transported to University Hospital for further evaluation."
This comes just weeks after he was busted for cocaine possession in Jersey. If you know Gooden, this isn't his first rodeo either...
quote:

In 2006, Gooden did an 8-month stint in jail after showing up to a probation hearing high on cocaine.

In 2010, Gooden crashed his car in Jersey while under the influence of drugs -- he was driving his 5-year-old son to school at the time of the crash.

In 2016, Gooden said he was clean and sober and had been getting involved with the church.

Inwish the mets would put him in their Uber account and let him ride for free. Seems 90% of his ongoing issues start with vehicles (and drugs, lol)
