LSU freshman guard Janae Kent is reportedly entering the transfer portal, according to multiple sources.

The Oak Forest, Ill. native played in 32 games during her freshman season, with one start in the SEC Championship against South Carolina. She averaged just 1.6 points per game.

She is the third LSU player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, joining guards Angelica Velez and Hailey Van Lith.

My question is why Coach Kim a former PG losing so many guards to the portal?

I think she could have been a good bench piece, her energy and hustle was a welcome sight, good luck to her

With Jada Richard coming in next year, her playing time was going to diminish significantly

I'm not sure that we can say Jada is going to going to immediately more productive than Janae, especially next year.

Janae was the 8th out of a 7 girl rotation this year. This bigger than Angelica entering the portal.

Janae ave. 1.6 points per game, the way Jada Richard scores I think she will surpass that ave.
