During his post-practice press conference on Tuesday, Lane Kiffin was asked to comment on the recent hire of Will Wade as the Tigers' new men's basketball coach.
quote:

"Yeah, I talked to him the other day," Kiffin responded. "Obviously, he was extremely excited about it. I did not know him personally."

"From what I know, he's been very successful wherever he's been. And just like we said about Corey (Raymond), if you are passionate about a place, and you are a really good coach... that's a really good combination."

"I know there's a lot of judgment about whether he should go, and he just got there, etc. And I probably have a unique view of that..."

"But I just think everything is everybody's story. They have one life to live, and what they want to choose to do, and what they believe their story is, after they get the best information they can from the people who are closest to them, and they make their decisions."

"And then, in my opinion, it's that person's job to go prove that decision right."

"I know people here are really excited about it. It does speak volumes about LSU. Because that is somebody who understands everything about LSU, understands the power of LSU, and went through a unique situation, a breakup, and made the decision to come back. To me, that says a lot about LSU."

IT was a bit difficult to follow at first, but I think he got his point across in the summary.
