Per LSUsports.net: BATON ROUGE -- Freshman designated hitter Matt Snyder hit two of the Rebels’ four homers as 11th ranked Ole Miss topped second-ranked LSU, 7-4 Friday night in Alex Box Stadium.
The Tigers (19-6, 4-3) will continue the series against Ole Miss (16-6, 5-2) Saturday at 3 p.m. CT. The Tigers will send senior right-hander Louis Coleman (5-1, 1.21 ERA) to the mound, while Ole Miss will counter with junior right-hander Phillip Irwin (4-0, 1.82 ERA).
