During his press conference on Wednesday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about freshman quarterback Colin Hurley, who was hospitalized following a car wreck on Jan. 16 on LSU's campus.
quote:

"Because of his age, at 17, he's under 18, we left a lot of the updates up this family," Kelly said.

"I've been there to see him on multiple occasions. Progress is real. He's back in Jacksonville. Reports, in talking to his Dad yesterday, were really positive."

"This is another scenario where there is a recovery process, but everyone is optimistic.

"As of now, there is no timeline for his return."

I may have missed how badly he was injured other than a cut to his face. Anyone know the Deets?

If he does not make it back, we will have just two. Then maybe add a QB in the Spring portal. Hope he makes it back a full go. Great player.

From the pictures I saw he’s lucky to be a live. I think they had to pull him out
