Penn State is obviously way higher than they should be. All this does is show the bias of these rankings. It is so obvious. At least we can count on the FPI to work properly. Penn State should not be ranked higher than #20. Based on opponents, it's not even close. Every year these rankings give team that are barely average like Penn State to start out in the top 5. We need to get rid of the biased rankings. You can keep them as part of the calculation. I think when speaking about teams we should not say that # ranked team, but rather that 3-1 team or that 2-2 team instead of that ranked team. It creates unfair bias. It has for decades.

Who has Texas beaten to still be ranked #10?

Shows that voters only see the final score. UF kept it close until the final few minutes.

How Illinois is still ranked after that thumping from Indiana I’ll never know.

Wouldn't stress it too much. LSU wins next week they will move up.

I guess LSU’s victories over Clemson and Florida have lost a little of their luster. At least they are still top four.

Yet Miami jumps us for beating the same Florida team and a 1-2 Notre Dame?

I’d swap Penn st and UGA. Winning on the road at Neyland is more impressive than anything Penn St has done.

Won't matter after this weekend if LSU wins.
